I took the above photo on 7/25/09 of my best creation ever...my beautiful baby girl (15 months old in the picture). My pregnancy and her first year of life were spent 2900 miles away from NYC...in Santa Cruz, California, where I lived with her daddy and helped to care for his two other young children. Prior to that, I lived in NYC for 33 years. But I returned to NYC, with my daughter, Spring 2009...finally introducing her to relatives and friends. She is my only child, and she was born 3 1/2 weeks early...my beloved, nearly 12 year old, chocolate lab died the day before I went into labor. I was blessed with my precious baby to nurture and love, during what would have been a difficult time, since I loved my doggy with all my heart. I'm in the process of revising my work/art portfolio.
