| As Executive Web Producer and Director of Internet Development, I led a talented team consisting of programmers, web designers, multimedia specialists, quality assurance testers, a web editor and an audio producer. PageTalk, unable to secure venture capital due to poor market conditions facing Internet start-ups at the end of 2000, could no longer meet payroll and was forced to lay off our entire department before going out of business. PageTalk provided audio publishing tools that enabled users to record messages using a telephone, then those users copied our code into their web pages or email signatures to allow others to hear those messages.
